A single vehicle crash on Highway 29 north of Red Hills Road has claimed the lives of two Clearlake men, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Jarried Ray Meyer, 22, and Dallas Dalton Schell, 20, died in the wreck, which occurred at approximately 4:50 a.m. Tuesday, according to the report from a CHP Officer.
Cornerback Chris Culliver of the San Francisco 49ers was arrested Friday in San Jose on hit-and-run and and weapons possession, according to San Jose Police.
A Police spokesman stated that police received a 911 call about the collision at 10:21 a.m. Culliver, driving a White Ford Mustang, hit and injured a bicyclist near the intersection of Tully Road and South 7th St. in San Jose, according to Morales.
Culliver fled the scene, hitting another car in the process and was followed by the driver of the car who was hit, Morales said.
Seven people were injured following a two-vehicle crash in San Francisco early Wednesday morning, at the intersection of Geary Boulevard and Van Ness Avenue.
Police said it happened about 12:30 a.m., with the impact of the collision knocking out a signal light on Van Ness, and for a time, blocking traffic in both directions.
According to initial reports, it appears one of the vehicles crossed the center divide on Van Ness and hit the other vehicle.

An 89-year-old San Jose woman died Saturday from head injuries after a bicyclist collided with her in a walkway on the campus of San Jose State University early Thursday, authorities said Thursday.
The woman was identified as Ching-Tsun Nee, who died of cranial cerebral injuries when she hit her head on the ground after the bicyclist struck her, according to the Santa Clara County medical examiner’s office.
