One person killed, two others injured, one critically, after two cars collide head-on while traveling on East 14th St. in San Leandro, California

Police are investigating a fatal car crash in San Leandro that happened on Saturday night, a police lieutenant said. Officers responded to the head-on collision involving two cars on East 14th Street between Davis and Chumalia streets around 10:45 p.m., police said. One of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene, he said. Two people were transported for their injuries, police said. One of the two people injured was a passenger who is listed in critical condition, according to police.
