Atlanta, GAFormer Auburn University football star Philip Lutzenkirchen reportedly died in a car accident on Sunday. Georgia State Patrol say that 22-year-old Joseph Ian Davis and 23-year-old Philip Lutzenkirchen were killed in the accident, which occurred at 3 a.m. at the intersection of Upper Springs Road and Lower Springs Road in Troup County in Georgia. State Patrol officers say that the 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe, that Davis was driving, failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection.

Atlanta, GAOne person has died after a fiery crash on Interstate 85 in Troup County Thursday morning, the Georgia State Patrol confirms.
Authorities say the crash happened after one of the tractor trailers rear ended another. The driver of the rear truck died at the scene. That individual's name has not been released pending notification of the family. The driver of the first truck, identified as 41-year-old Adrian Dejuan Tillman of High Point, North Carolina, was injured and transported to West Central Health Center.

Atlanta, GAA twin-engine aircraft carrying three people crashed at LaGrange-Callaway Airport at about 2:20 p.m. Saturday, according to the FAA.
Officials confirm all three people on board were killed in the crash. They have been identified as Vincent Rosetti, 60, Willy Lutz, 69, and Jeffrey Curtis, 53. All were from Peachtree City.
