One person has died after a fiery crash on Interstate 85 in Troup County Thursday morning, the Georgia State Patrol confirms.
One person has died after a fiery crash on Interstate 85 in Troup County Thursday morning, the Georgia State Patrol confirms. Authorities say the crash happened after one of the tractor trailers rear ended another. The driver of the rear truck died at the scene. That individual's name has not been released pending notification of the family. The driver of the first truck, identified as 41-year-old Adrian Dejuan Tillman of High Point, North Carolina, was injured and transported to West Central Health Center. The northbound lanes remain closed while authorities investigate. Traffic is being detoured to Exit 14.
