Friday, May 23, 2014New York state police say a man has died after crashing his boat on Lake George.
Troopers said Saturday that John Michaels of Bolton Landing was driving the 21-foot Steiger when it hit rocks and trees along the shoreline.
The wreck happened at about 10 p.m. Friday.
Police say the 57-year-old suffered massive trauma. He was the only person on the boat.
Troopers say Michaels was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
