Albuquerque-Santa Fe, NMFive people have been transported to the hospital, including one woman who was airlifted due to serious injuries, after a head-on collision on I-40 about 13 miles west of Albuquerque according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
One lane is open on westbound I-40 while the Laguna Police Department investigates the incident that occurred Friday afternoon, according to a BCSO spokesman.

St. Louis, MOFive adults and three children were injured in a head-on crash in north St. Louis Friday evening. St. Louis Fire officials said two of the children and four adults suffered serious injuries, but said none of the injuries appear life threatening. All of these involved were transported to the hospital. Authorities said the accident happened around 5 p.m. at North Broadway and Pitzman. Police have not said what caused the accident.
