Indianapolis, INA head-on crash involving a semi and another vehicle killed one person in Shelby County this afternoon.
The crash occurred around 3:50 p.m. on Ind. 44, near Old Franklin Road. Authorities suspect that the passenger vehicle and semi were traveling in opposite directions, when the driver of the passenger vehicle heading west drove into the direction of the eastbound semi.
The passenger vehicle’s driver, who has not been identified, was killed. The semi driver was not injured.

Indianapolis, INOne person was critically injured, two others seriously hurt in a head-on crash in Greenfield late Wednesday.
The crash happened shortly before 11 p.m. in the area of State Road 9 and Chapman Drive.
Two passenger vehicles were involved in the crash.
The first vehicle was driven by 26-year-old Jeffery M. Franklin of Greenfield.
The second car was driven by 18-year-old Dillon Woods from Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Woods had a passenger with him identified as 21-year-old Christopher J Ryan from Greenfield.
Investigators say Franklin was heading north on State Road 9 at the time of the crash.
