Police have identified the teenager killed in a crash on Interstate 275 Sunday evening.

Officers said 41-year-old Larry Molloy of Cincinnati was driving 80 mph in a 65 mph zone when his sport utility vehicle hit a wall near Kellogg Avenue and rolled several times.

Damien Henderson, 16, was thrown from the vehicle and later died at Anderson Mercy Hospital, deputies said.

According to the crash report, Henderson was not wearing his seat belt.

A head-on crash between a car and truck on East Waterloo right by Donzell's Flower and Garden Center in Akron has put three people in the hospital. The crash happened around 11 p.m. on Sunday.

According to Akron police, the driver of a Ford F-250 went left of center while driving eastbound on East Waterloo just before South Arlington. It hit a Hyundai head-on and drove over top of the car before rolling over. The truck came to rest after hitting the Donzell's business sign.

The Wickliffe Police Department responded to a reported car accident Sunday morning at the Shell gas station. Upon arrival, police found 34-year-old Benjamin Scholes at the scene of the accident. Scholes admitting to losing control of his vehicle on a patch of ice. Scholes' blood alcohol content was a .189. He was arrested and charged with OVI failure to control. He was released after posting a $3,500 bond. Police say the canopy of the gas station and gas pump received extensive damage from the crash.

A man has died after a crash in Springfield Township Sunday morning. Springfield Township police were sent to the 10000 block of Hamilton Avenue around 3:20 a.m. for reports of an accident with injuries. Upon arrival, police said they found a Chevy Cobalt, driven by Carlos Phillips, 23, was traveling southbound on Hamilton Avenue when it crossed the center line and struck a Hyundai. According to police, Phillips and another passenger were taken to UC Medical Center for their injuries. Phillips was pronounced dead at the hospital as a result of the injuries he sustained in the crash.
