Monday, January 27, 2014Three people were hurt after two vehicles and a train hauling sugar cane were involved in a crash Tuesday morning, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
The wreck occurred at about 8:17 a.m. in the 35500 block of State Route 80 near Hatton Highway.
When rescue crews arrived, one vehicle was still on the tracks and all railway traffic was stopped for safety.
Seven people were evaluated by firefighters, and three were transported to hospitals for further treatment.
