The motorcyclist killed in a hit-run accident in North Park early Friday was the prop master for the Old Globe theater, officials there said. Seamus O’Bryan, 32, who also worked at La Jolla Playhouse, died after the 12:35 a.m. collision. A passenger on his bike, a 31-year-old man whose name was not released, was hospitalized with several injuries, San Diego police said. Police had only a vague description of the hit-and-run driver as a male in a white or cream-colored four-door sedan, probably a Cadillac.

Police say four people were injured late Tuesday night following a hit-and-run crash in the Bankers Hill area of San Diego. The wreck occurred at 10:30 p.m. at the corner of 5th Avenue and Laurel Street, a San Diego Police Department official said. Witnesses stated that a white Jaguar slammed into two vehicles waiting at a stop light at 5th Avenue then sped off westbound on Laurel Street, leaving a trail of radiator fluid behind. Some of the witnesses followed the suspect vehicle and called police, until the Jaguar came to a sputtering halt on the 2400 block of Brant Street.

A San Diego Gas & Electric utility truck was the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run-crash in El Cajon that left a homeless man dead, police said Friday. The victim, Robert Fisher, 54, was crossing Jamacha Road south of East Main Street outside of a crosswalk about 10 p.m. Monday when he was run over by the truck, police said. A few minutes later Fisher, who was lying in the roadway, was also struck by a 2003 Hyundai Sonata whose driver pulled over, police said. Fisher died of blunt force trauma to the head, neck and torso, the county Medical Examiner’s Office said.
