Police say four people were injured late Tuesday night following a hit-and-run crash in the Bankers Hill area of San Diego.
Police say four people were injured late Tuesday night following a hit-and-run crash in the Bankers Hill area of San Diego. The wreck occurred at 10:30 p.m. at the corner of 5th Avenue and Laurel Street, a San Diego Police Department official said. Witnesses stated that a white Jaguar slammed into two vehicles waiting at a stop light at 5th Avenue then sped off westbound on Laurel Street, leaving a trail of radiator fluid behind. Some of the witnesses followed the suspect vehicle and called police, until the Jaguar came to a sputtering halt on the 2400 block of Brant Street. Police caught up to the driver and arrested him. Officers were seen administering DUI tests at the scene. The four people injured in the crash were taken to various area hospitals. Each suffered minor injuries.
