A Tallapoosa County woman died Sunday from injuries she sustained in a Saturday traffic crash.

Linda Faye Parrish, 51, died at 9:50 a.m. Sunday, from injuries she received when the 1995 Pontiac Sunfire she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree, according to Alabama State Troopers. The crash occurred at approximately 6:35 a.m. on Alabama 22 one mile west of Daviston, which is located in the northeastern part of the county.

Troopers stated that seat belts were not in use at the time of the crash. No other information was made available.

A Piggott man died Saturday after a motorcycle accident in Clay County, the Arkansas State Police said.

Chad Holland Carmack, 34, was riding a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle east on U.S. 62 in Pollard about 5 p.m. Saturday when he lost control and slid beneath a 2014 Dodge going the opposite direction, according to an Arkansas State Police accident report.

Carmack came to rest in a ditch on the west side of the highway; he was dead at the scene, state police said. The driver of the Dodge was uninjured, according to the report.

A sedan passenger suffered fatal injuries in a head-on crash involving a Barona Tribal Security SUV on Wildcat Canyon Road south of Ramona Saturday, authorities said.

The collision occurred about 6:40 p.m. when the officer swerved over the double yellow lines into the northbound lane and hit an oncoming sedan, California Highway Patrol Sgt. Jim McNamara told reporters at the scene.

Both vehicles sustained major front-end damage. One person was reported to be trapped in a vehicle, according to the CHP website.

One man is dead after his car crashed into two utility poles.

According to police, a single vehicle accident happened on Dorsey Lane near Ward Avenue Saturday night around 10:50. The driver of a Toyota Tacoma pickup was traveling northbound on Dorsey Lane, lost control in a curve at the intersection and hit a utility pole.

The truck then rotated and slid into the easement striking a second utility pole. The truck flipped on its side and stopped.

A male driver, in his mid-30s, was the only occupant.

A 10-year-old boy was flown to the hospital Saturday after he crashed a motorcycle at Miller Motorsports Park.

The boy was going off a jump in the motocross area when he crashed, said North Tooele County Fire District spokesman Ryan Willden. Firefighters were called to the Tooele park, at 2901 Sheep Lane, about 6:51 p.m.

They tended to the boy until a helicopter arrived to take him to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City. Willden did not know the extent of the boy’s injuries or where he lives.

A Laurel man was killed Saturday afternoon when he crashed his motorcycle into the rear of a Mercedes SUV that had slowed to turn into a driveway in Damascus.

Police say Alan Evans, 51, of the 8600 block of Felsview Drive in Laurel died on the scene despite live-saying efforts of emergency personnel, including an off-duty Howard County firefighter who happened to come upon the collision just before Montgomery County Fire & Rescue personnel arrived.

Lauren Fishman of Rockville, who was driving the Merdedes, and a 14-year-old female passenger were uninjured.

A man was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident on Sheridan Boulevard Saturday evening.

Shortly before 9:30 p.m. Saturday, the Denver Police Department tweeted that there had been a car accident involving a vehicle and at pedestrian at the intersection of Sheridan Boulevard and Evans Avenue.

Police said the male victim had been declared dead, and the vehicle that struck him remained on the scene.

Omaha police have arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of drunken driving after they say drove his pickup into the back of another truck, then crashed into a house.

Police say Joseph Linhart drove off after rear-ending another pickup stopped for a red light in south Omaha around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

They say Linhart then lost control of his truck while speeding away, crashing into a home near 52nd and O streets.

Police say he tried to flee on foot but was caught a short distance away.

A person was killed Saturday in a head-on collision involving a dump truck in Montgomery County.

According to officials, a car was headed westbound on Highway 242 when it crossed the yellow line, hit a cattle trailer and then struck the dump truck head on.

Two people were inside the car when the crash happened. The passenger was killed. The driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

A two-vehicle accident Saturday in West Valley City left a couple in serious condition after police say their vehicle appeared to have run a red light.

West Valley City police Lt. Dalan Taylor said a 66-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman were the occupants of a Saturn four-door sedan, traveling north on Decker Lake Boulevard, when they were struck about 10 a.m. by a westbound Chevy Blazer at the intersection with Parkway Boulevard.
