Police are investigating after a 19-year-old woman was struck and killed while skateboarding in North Miami Beach Sunday. The incident happened just before 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Northeast 23rd Avenue and Northeast 137th Street, North Miami Beach Police said. The victim, who was struck by a white Ford sedan, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver stayed on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said. Officials later identified the teen as Jacqueline Elizabeth Postrel-Jambor.
