Houston, TXA woman is in the hospital after a hit-and-run crash on Highway 6 in northwest Harris County.
According to Harris County deputies, the 30-year-old victim was trying to cross the intersection at Kieth Harrow Boulevard early Wednesday morning when the vehicle hit her.
Officials say the driver did not stop.
Deputies said Life Flight airlifted the victim to Memorial Hermann Hospital in serious, but stable condition. She’s expected to survive.
Investigators do not have a description of the wanted vehicle.

Dallas-Ft. Worth, TXA man has been arrested after police say he hit a woman with his car, killing her, around 10 p.m. Saturday in the 4300 block of Berke St. at Seminary Road.
Officers received a call regarding a woman laying in the roadway near the Southgate Manor apartments, and discovered she had been hit by car upon arrival.
The woman, who has only been identified as 52 years old, was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The man who police say hit the woman with his car has been identified as Pedro Garcia, 33.

Houston, TXAuthorities are searching for a person of interest wanted in connection to a hit-and-run crash in League City.
League City police said a man was riding a bicycle when he was hit by a car around 2:30 a.m. Thursday in the 1900 block of E. Marina Bay Drive.
Another driver called 911 and stayed at the scene until emergency crews arrive, police said.
Officials said the 45-year-old man, later identified as Kevin Munson, was taken to Clear Lake Regional where he later died. His name was not immediately released pending family notification.
Woman found dead on the FM 1960 roadway after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Houston, Texas

Houston, TXAuthorities are looking for the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident early Tuesday morning.
Deputies responded to the 7000 block of FM 1960 around 3:30 a.m. after witnesses reported seeing a woman's body in the middle of the road.
As of Tuesday morning, investigators hadn't released any information regarding the woman's identity, and they said it's still not clear why she was in the middle of the road.
Detectives closed FM 1960 and diverted traffic while they conducted their investigation. All lanes of FM 1960 reopened shortly before 8 a.m.

Houston, TXA deadly hit-and-run crash closed part of Kuykendahl Road in north Harris County early Thursday morning.
Harris County sheriff's deputies said a red sedan with two men inside was heading south on Kuykendahl just after midnight when a man was crossing the road near the intersection of Cypress Landing. The pedestrian was hit by the car.
His body actually went into the windshield," said a Sgt. with the Harris County Sheriff's Office. "He rode on top of the car for two or three hundred yards."
The man, later identified as Julio Alberto Moreira, died at the scene.
