Caylen Holloway, 6, critically injured after he is struck by a hit-and-run driver on Walford Avenue in Warrensville Heights, Ohio

Warrensville Heights Police are investigating a hit-skip crash that left a 6-year-old in critical condition at University Hospital’s Rainbow Babies. According to a police report, officers were called out 4657 Walford Avenue around 7:05 p.m. on Sunday, April 13 after a child was struck by a car. Officers arrived on scene and along with the Warrensville Heights Fire Department and located Caylen Holloway, 6, along with his parents.

Malik Herron, 13, killed, one other teen slightly injured, taken to hospital, after they are struck by a truck that fled the scene while walking on Vermont Street in Gary, Indiana

Police in Gary, Ind., said they might have found the truck involved in a hit-and-run that killed a 13-year-old boy this weekend. Malik Herron was walking with his friend in the 4900 block of Vermont Street Saturday night, when a large, dark-colored vehicle left the road and struck both boys. Herron died, his friend was only slightly hurt.
