A 26-year-old woman has died from injuries she suffered when a car in which she was riding collided with a tour bus, necessitating an emergency C-section to deliver her 28-week-old fetus, Phoenix police said.

Machozi Lububim, 26, was initially placed on life support on Sunday, said Phoenix Officer James Holmes.

The baby was in stable condition at a Valley hospital.

An Escondido woman who died in a San Marcos freeway crash on Sunday has been identified by authorities as Lynn Jill Nguyen.

The 21-year-old was heading west on state Route 78 about 2:20 a.m. when she lost control of her Acura sedan while changing lanes, the California Highway Patrol said.

Nguyen’s car swerved off the highway near San Marcos Boulevard, struck and tree and rolled. She was dead when paramedics got there, the Medical Examiner’s Office said.

Arkansas State Police say two teenagers were killed in a single-vehicle crash in Northwest Arkansas.

Authorities say the wreck happened Sunday night on Old Springtown Road in Gentry. According to a preliminary report, 19-year-old Zachary Long of Siloam Springs and 19-year-old Shawn Hurt of Gentry were traveling in a sport utility vehicle when the vehicle went off the road and into an embankment.

More than 30 vehicles piled up on an icy highway in Milwaukee County.

Two trucks, two buses and other vehicles were involved in the crash on Highway 45 in Wauwatosa about 10:30 p.m. Monday.

The sheriff's department says only one person was injured.

A return to freezing temperatures made the roads slick and had sheriff's deputies responding to 43 crashes in Milwaukee County between 10 p.m. Monday and 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Authorities are clarifying one detail on a crash that happened Saturday, leaving a woman in serious but stable condition. The Auburn Police Department originally said the victim was a student at Auburn University, when in fact, she is not enrolled.

The victim, identified only as a 22-year-old female, was leaving a rodeo event at Auburn University when the crash happened.

Police say the crash took place just before 11 p.m. on South College Street near Interstate 85, when a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado struck a 2007 Ford F-350 from behind.

The woman killed in a two-car crash in Estell Manor Sunday afternoon has been identified State Police as 84-year-old Dorothy Gorman.

Gorman was in a Chevy Lumina traveling southbound on State Route 50 when it was struck while trying to turn left and sent spinning into the other lane.

She was found in the back seat. She was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Also in the vehicle were driver Mary Gilson and her husband Dennis Gilson, both of Woodbine. They were transported to a hospital for medical attention. Mary Gilson is Gorman’s daughter.

A 16-year-old boy has died and four other teens are hospitalized after their car collided with another early Sunday morning, police said.

It happened on Maricopa/Casa Grande Highway near Bianco Road at 12:12 a.m.

Five occupants in a Chevrolet Impala were ejected after it crashed into a Chevrolet Silverado, according to Casa Grande police spokesman Thomas Anderson.

First responders were unable to resuscitate the victim of a rollover crash on Interstate 94 between Billings and Huntley Sunday afternoon.

The incident occurred at about 1:30 p.m.

A Help Flight helicopter was dispatched to the scene, but was waved off when officials determined that the victim had died, said a Montana Highway Patrol Trooper.

The 38-year-old female driver from Ballantine, headed westbound toward Billings at the time of the incident, was the only person in the vehicle.

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash late Sunday on the city’s Near Northside.

John Moore, 31, Indianapolis, died from injuries sustained after his Yamaha dirtbike slid into a 2002 black Chevy Malibu at the intersection of North 30th Street and Ralston Avenue, according to an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department report.

Police were called at about 9 p.m. to the intersection, according to the IMPD report.

A Nashville women was killed in a motorcycle crash last night.

Fifty-two-year-old Carolyn Lumley was a passenger on a Harley Davidson motorcycle that was struck by a car when it pulled out of a driveway on Old Hickory Boulevard.

Three cars were involved in the crash. The driver of the motorcycle, Thomas Lumley, was injured along with the driver of the car that hit hem.

Police say it appears the motorcycle was at fault. Charges haven't been filed at this time.
