Thursday, April 17, 2014A man who drove into a San Francisco Municipal Railway bus stop and seriously injured a woman in The City's Mission Terrace neighborhood Friday night was allegedly under the influence, a police spokesman said today.
Virgilio Aquino Jr., 44, of San Francisco, was arrested after allegedly driving his car into a bus stop at Mission Street and Silver Avenue around 9:35 p.m. Friday, according to a San Francisco police spokesman.
Aquino hit a 42-year-old woman, who was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.

Thursday, April 17, 2014A 3-year-old girl was killed Friday after being ejected from a vehicle in a rollover crash on Highway 99 in Northern California, authorities said.
In addition, a 10-year-old boy was airlifted to University of California, Davis Medical Center, and a 9-year-old girl was taken to San Joaquin County General Hospital. Their conditions could not be immediately determined.
The crash in Modesto involved a 2000 Isuzu carrying two adults and four children, and a 2012 Toyota containing two adults, California Highway Patrol spokesman James Smith said.
