Binghamton, NYNichols, NY (WBNG Binghamton) New York State Police identify the Tioga County woman who was killed in a head-on crash on State Route 17 East.
Shirley McGee, 79, of Candor died in the crash Tuesday afternoon.
It happened around 2:40 p.m. by exit 62 in Nichols. According to state police, McGee was driving west on the eastbound lane of State Route 17. Her gray 2001 Ford Escort collided head-on with a 2010 white pick-up truck driven by Nickolas Little, 34, of Ceres, NY.
McGee was pronounced dead at the scene by the Tioga County Assistant Coroner.
