Benjamin Nobert, 36, was driving south on Eastmanville Street when he stopped at the intersection with West Randal Street and then entered the intersection when drove into the path of a second vehicle. Nobert was seriously injured and his passenger, Maddi Nobert, 9, suffered minor injuries. The other driver, James Arendus, 72, was not injured in the accident.

Dakota Jay Yoder was riding a 4-wheeler on private property when the vehicle flipped on top of him. He was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries the next day. Sometime in the afternoon, a car driven by a 31-year-old woman with three children as passengers was traveling east on Maple Road when it reportedly made a left turn in the path of an oncoming car, and the two vehicles collided head-on. One of the children in the eastbound vehicle, a 10-year-old boy, sustained serious injuries in the accident and was hospitalized.

At 4:00 PM Friday, December 12, a 31-year-old woman was driving eastbound on Maple Road in Muir, Michigan when she turned into the path of a westbound vehicle driven by a 54-year-old man. There were three children in the backseat of the woman's car, including a 10 year old who sustained serious injuries and had to be taken to the hospital. Two teens were injured when a school bus they were riding drove off a road, striking a tree. The accident reportedly occured near Dagget Road and Tamarack Road, northwest of Howard City. The exact conditions of the students have not been released, but the injuries were not considered life-threatening. The students were an 11th-grade girl and an 8th-grade boy, and their names have not yet been released. Weather conditions are considered a contributing factor in this accident.

The accident occurred shortly before 4 PM on December 9th as Jennifer Christensen, 23, was turning into a driveway on M-82 when a vehicle coming in the opposite direction, driven by Paul Dupont, 55, struck her car. The force of the accident pushed her car into Felicia Christensen, 16, who was taking a trash can from the edge of the road. Felicia, along with Jennifer and her 3-year-old passenger were taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Elizabeth Slabaugh, 84, and her 14-year-old granddaughter were travelling northbound on M-51 at Pennsylvania Road when a car driven by Sally Lundy, 64, and her 3-year-old grandaughter pulled out in front of her, resulting in a head-on collision. Slabaugh had to be extrivated from her vehicle. She was sent to South Bend Memorial Hospital. All other parties were treated and released at the site of the accident. A 4-year old was hospitalized Thursday after the pickup truck he was riding in lost control on an icy bridge and then rolled down an embankment toward the Grand River around noon on the 68th Avenue bridge near Allendale. Julio Villanueva, 35, was driving south when he lost control of his 2003 Dodge Ram on the icy bridge, hit the guardrail, went over the side of the bridge and rolled down an embankment.

Just before 6:00 pm, a car turned from Lakeview Drive onto Portage Road and into the path of another car, with 10-year-old Faith Hall as a passenger in the front seat.
