Boy, 4, hurt when truck rolls down embankment

Villanueva carried his son up the embankment to the road, where he was met by emergency responders.
A 4-year old was hospitalized Thursday after the pickup truck he was riding in lost control on an icy bridge and then rolled down an embankment toward the Grand River around noon on the 68th Avenue bridge near Allendale. Julio Villanueva, 35, was driving south when he lost control of his 2003 Dodge Ram on the icy bridge, hit the guardrail, went over the side of the bridge and rolled down an embankment. Villanueva’s 4-year-old son Caesar was in the truck with him at the time of the crash and was seriously hurt. He was taken to the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital and was listed in stable condition.
