Hattiesburg-Laurel, MSA man was driving near Monroe Road on Interstate 59 when he drove off the road, and the car rolled over and caught fire. Bystanders were able to help the man escape before the vehicle caught fire, saving his life. Parts of the forest the car crashed into caught fire when the car did, but firefighters were able to contain it. The man's name has not been released.

Jackson, MSA fatal Holmes County accident killed three people on Halloween evening. One of those killed was Tchula Police Chief Anthony Jones. The crash occurred on Highway 49 six miles south of Tchula. Four vehicles were involved in the crash, and two of the bodies were burned beyond recognition. The other victims' names have not yet been released. Check back for updates as more information becomes available.

Hattiesburg-Laurel, MSAccording to officials with the Hattiesburg Police Department, a downed tree and power line has claimed one life.
A HPD Lieutenant stated that a tree fell on top of a car, causing some power lines to break. The incident one person is dead. The accident happened somewhere on Richburg Road, near Nellwood Drive, in the Hattiesburg city limits.

Jackson, MSAccording to officials with the Pearl Police Department, an accident happened this morning at I-20 and Pearson Road.
According to Pearl police, two single cab trucks collided. One truck rear-ended the other coming down the I-20 West exit ramp.
The driver in the vehicle that rear-ended the truck was airlifted to UMC. His truck leaked oil and gas, and caught fire while he was inside. Firefighters had to cut him out of his truck. Crews were cleaning up the spilled chemicals. There is no word on his injuries.
