Saturday, November 29, 2014Two people died in a wrong-way collision on State Road 60 in Indian River County early Saturday morning. The crash occurred on State Road 60 about 12:45 a.m. when Thomas Warren, 24, of Apopka, and Abby Calleja, 40, of Vero Beach, crashed head-on. Calleja's 2013 Jeep Cherokee was traveling in the wrong direction on SR 60 when it struck Warren's 2007 Dodge Charger.

Friday, July 18, 2014The family of a man who was killed by a wrong-way driver on Interstate 95 on Saturday has more questions than answers about what led up to the deadly crash. Norman Mello, 42, was headed south on I-95 on his motorcycle Saturday evening. That’s when Florida Highway Patrol said Varissa Vargas, 20, was driving the wrong way in the express lanes between State Road 836 (Dolphin Expressway) and Highway 112.
