Woman in her 40's struck and seriously injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver traveling at high speed just after exiting a SEPTA bus at 21st Street and Susquehanna Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Philadelphia Police are investigating a hit and run accident that left a pedestrian seriously injured in North Philadelphia Tuesday. It happened at 21st Street and Susquehanna Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Police say a woman, believed to be in her late 40's, had just exited a SEPTA bus when she was struck by a white Chevy Impala at a high rate of speed. The impact sent the victim flying nearly 30 feet before she landed in the street. She was taken to Temple University Hospital with serious head injuries.

Oklahoma City police are looking for a driver they say was involved in a hit-and-run accident with a MetroTransit bus. Officers say the crash occurred near North Classen Boulevard and Northwest 10th Street. Authorities say they are looking for a white truck that fled the scene.
