Wednesday, April 29, 2015A 60-year-old man was heading south on Jack Tone Road at about 12:18 p.m. when hit the brakes too late at the road's intersection with Harney lane, ran the stop sign, and collided with the trailer of a semi-truck driven by an 80-year-old man. The car crashed through the underside of the trailer, and the 60-year-old man sustained injuries described as major. He was airlifted to the hospital.

Monday, April 13, 2015Steven Watts, 22, was allegedly speeding and driving recklessly on eastbound Elder Creek Road when he ran a red light abd collided with a car traveling north on Florin-Perkins Road. The force of the collision caused that vehicle to strike a third vehicle. Watts was thrown from his vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

One of the vehicles involved, an SUV, came to a stop on the shoulder of the road after the crash and burst into flames. The occupant of the SUV was hospitalized for his injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was also taken to a hospital.
