After a car failed to stop for a police officer, the officer pursued the vehicle for several minutes but stopped the chase and watched the car speed past "Club 12," on South Street. A little over a mile down the road, the officer found the vehicle on its roof, badly damaged. Latulippe was thrown from the car and discovered about 60 feet away down a steep embankment with mortal injuries.

The 57-year-old driver was being pursued by the police before crashing into an oncoming vehicle, which caused a collision with a third vehicle. The driver going the wrong-way was taken to Emanuel Hospital with a broken back, ribs and hip and is expected to recover. The two other drivers have already been treated and release by nearby hospitals.

Bowie and his female passenger were taken to University Medical Center; there were five injuries total, but none were life-threatening. Bowie was cited for many violations including: driving while New Jersey privileges are suspended, reckless driving, being unlicensed, for unsafe vehicle, for having a bald passenger front tire, for loaded as to spill, for maintenance of lamps for having no visible passenger tail lamp lens or housing on vehicle or found on scene, for unclear plates by having a trailer hitch ball blocking rear plate, and for operating an uninsured vehicle.

An officer spotted the vehicle speeding and swerving. Hensley did not pull over, and the pursuit lasted until the truck crashed, where it became badly damaged. He took off on foot, but was caught by police not far away. Hensley will face charges when he is released from the hospital.

South Salt Lake police have identified the man who died in a motorcycle crash while trying to elude pursuing officers. Sgt. Darin Sweeten said Caesar Cruz, 20, died when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a Jeep on State Street near 3750 South about 3 p.m. Thursday.

Justin Beeler was believed to be chasing a man driving a Chrysler riddled with bullet holes when his vehicle struck a tree. Beeler died in the accident. The other driver was identified as Michael D. Nevins, 43.

The man killed in a two-car accident Tuesday night at Main and Berkshire streets in Holyoke has been identified as Danny Lugo, 25, of Springfield, according to Massachusetts State Police. Lugo was killed when he crashed his black Honda head-on into an SUV operated by a 61-year-old Holyoke man. The impact left the Holyoke man with serious injuries, and he is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, said Lt. Daniel G. Richard of the state police Media Relations Bureau.

Investigators have identified one of the three people who died in a rollover crash near the Salt Lake City International Airport. Michaela Martin, 18, of Taylorsville and two boys died Saturday after their vehicle flipped into a retention pond at the end of a chase on Interstate 80, according to the Utah Highway Patrol. The 24-year-old driver of the black Volkswagen, who survived, allegedly sped out of a parking garage at the airport at about 5 a.m. and would not stop for an airport police officer, according to UHP Lt. Jeff Nigber.

Three teenagers died when a stolen car crashed into a tree and caught fire after a chase early Friday, authorities said. The names of those killed have not been released, but police say they were a girl and two boys, all 16 and all from Modesto. According to Modesto Police Sgt. David Chamberlain, a police officer in central Modesto tried to stop a car after seeing the driver violate a vehicle code at 11:40 p.m.
