Thomas Brennan and Jason Anderson were killed Sunday after their cars slid into a jacknifed tractor-trailer on I-476 southbound amid icy conditions in Broomall, Delaware County, PA. A third driver was hospitalized with head trauma. Anderson's wife, Kati, and son, Ryan were also injured but are expected to be fine. Kati Anderson remains hospitalized in stable condition at Crozer-Chester Medical Center.

A multi-vehicle crash shutdown all northbound lanes of the Blue Route in Delaware County for several hours Thursday morning.

The crash happened at about 5:15 a.m. along I-476 northbound at the off-ramp for Route 3.

The crash involved four vehicles, including a Pennsylvania State Trooper cruiser with two Troopers inside.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the Troopers were initially called to the scene for a one-car crash. The cruiser was pulled to the side of the road with its emergency lights on.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a one vehicle crash on the Blue Route in Radnor Township.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. Friday morning.
State Police say the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

I-476 southbound was closed between US 30 and Route 3 for about five hours.
All southbound lanes were reopened to traffic around 7:30 a.m.

The accident remains under investigation.

An overnight crash left one person dead and a busy roadway closed for hours. The wreck between a car and a box truck left the southbound Blue Route (I-476) in Marple Township, Pa. closed from Pa. Route 3 to U.S. Route 1 around 11:45 p.m. Thursday. The maroon Lincoln Town Car came to rest with the entire front-half of the car under the rear of the large white truck. Investigators said it appeared the Town Car was moving much faster than the truck at the time of impact.
