New father among dead in ice storm crashes

Anderson was one of three people killed during a nightmare morning of crashes resulting from an ice storm that surprised weathermen and motorists, and left dozens injured.

He was an employee of Dover International Speedway, working as the senior director of ticket sales and operations. In a statement from Speedway officials, he was described as a "dedicated husband, father, employee and friend."

 

Thomas Brennan and Jason Anderson were killed Sunday after their cars slid into a jacknifed tractor-trailer on I-476 southbound amid icy conditions in Broomall, Delaware County, PA. A third driver was hospitalized with head trauma. Anderson's wife, Kati, and son, Ryan were also injured but are expected to be fine. Kati Anderson remains hospitalized in stable condition at Crozer-Chester Medical Center.
