An overnight crash left one person dead and a busy roadway closed for hours. The wreck between a car and a box truck left the southbound Blue Route (I-476) in Marple Township, Pa. closed from Pa. Route 3 to U.S. Route 1 around 11:45 p.m. Thursday. The maroon Lincoln Town Car came to rest with the entire front-half of the car under the rear of the large white truck. Investigators said it appeared the Town Car was moving much faster than the truck at the time of impact. Pennsylvania State Police reported that the sedan driver died at the scene. Police later said the 70-year-old would be identified pending notification of his family. No reports of injuries to the truck driver, later identified as Prince Kollie of Darby, Pa.
