A series of unfortante events led to the death of 30-year-old Benjamin brave on Wednesday. Brave was driving his car on I-70 when it for some reason lost power, so he pulled over to the right shoulder and exited his vehicle, which was still partially in the right lane. Unfortunately, he could not activate his hazard lights due to his car's lack of power, and at that time a semi-truck driven by a 62-year-old man swerved to the right because of a deer in the roadway and side-swiped his vehicle.

A dramatic car chase that crisscrossed the Denver area during the Wednesday morning commute started when a man stole an SUV with a 4-year-old boy inside and ended after he carjacked two other vehicles and struck a state trooper.

Ryan Stone, a 28-year-old wanted in a drug case, covered about 75 miles before he caused a multi-vehicle crash at an intersection in Lone Tree, south of Denver. He then ran across a parking lot before appearing to give up, lying face-down in the snow as officers approached and pinned him to the ground.

The Colorado State Patrol confirmed the single-vehicle accident took place near mile marker 323, which is about five miles from Deer Trail, around 5 a.m. on Wednesday.

Traffic on the interstate was completely shut down as of 9 a.m., as crews worked to repair a bridge that was damaged by the crash
