Sunday, December 28, 2014Randy Joseph Fallaw, of Ladson, was northbound in a 2000 Ford pickup on I-85 in Anderson County Sunday night around 8 p.m. when he attempted to avoid another accident, lost control of his vehicle, ran off the right side of the roadway, and struck a tree, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. Fallaw was wearing a seat belt and had to be extracted from his pickup, and was pronounced dead at Greenville Memorial Hospital. The accident occurred at mile marker 36, which is about 2.5 miles north of Piedmont

Saturday, September 6, 201419 year old Jose Isidro Landin of Gray Court died Saturday afternoon in a crash along I-85 in Spartanburg County on Business 85 at I-26. Troopers have not said what led to the crash and are still investigating.
The SC Highway Patrol says three people were injured and another was killed after a crash on I-85 in Spartanburg County.

Wednesday, January 22, 2014A 32-year-old man was killed in a crash Thursday night.
According to the highway patrol, the crash happened at 9:42 p.m. Thursday in the southbound lane of Interstate 85 at mile marker 102, which is in the Blacksburg city limits.

Troopers say a 2012 Dodge pick-up was traveling at a high rate of speed when it rear-ended a 1995 Mercury, overturned, and landed in the median.
Both of the truck's occupants were ejected from the vehicle. Neither were wearing seat belts according to troopers.
