Witnesses say they saw 20-year-old Cameron Nichols passing vehicles unsafely on an I-80 on-ramp, before he passed a semi-truck, lost control and fell onto the roadway, and was run over by it at about 5:37 p.m. Authorities pronounced Nichols dead at the scene of the crash.

A crash in the westbound lanes of I-70 at the 22 mile marker near the on ramp for Brazil left one man dead. A pickup driven by David Brett Lindsey, 49, of Clay City, suddenly veered onto the shoulder, and then back across the westbound lanes, rolling multiple times and ejecting Lindsey. He was brought to St. Vincent-Clay Hospital, where he died from his injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt. We'll update this story as more information becomes availalble.

Steven Watts, 22, was allegedly speeding and driving recklessly on eastbound Elder Creek Road when he ran a red light abd collided with a car traveling north on Florin-Perkins Road. The force of the collision caused that vehicle to strike a third vehicle. Watts was thrown from his vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Despite wearing a seatbelt, a woman named Sheila Williams, 48, died on the scene and nine more people were injured when the driver of a Ford E350 lost control of the vehicle. The Econoline Van  rotated, left the  roadway edge and climbed up a concrete median before being overturned last Sunday, February 22. The injured occupants were taken to University Medical Center for treatment. According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the driver was traveling too fast in the rain. This is already the ninth fatal accident for the Nevada Highway Patrol - Southern Command just for this year alone.

Cuello sisters Scarlet, Scarlina, and their other sister who owns Bella's Dominican Salon, where they all work, suffered serious injuries when an aggressive driver of a 4-door Jeep Wrangler forced their vehicle to go off road and down an embarkment. The accident happened in the morning of February 7 on Interstate 575 just south of Sixes Road in Canton, Georgia. Scarlet lost an arm, suffered several broken bones and was in a coma for ten days, while another sister broke her leg in three places. The Woodstock Police are asking anyone who has information about the accident to come forward.

Brown was driving a van containing five other passengers south on I-85 at about 1:15pm, when she veered off of the roadway to the left before overcorrecting, striking a pickup truck, and rolling multiple times before finally landing upside-down. All of the six who were injured were in the van, and during the crash four people were ejected from it. Two of the passengers had to be taken to the hospital via helicopter, and the other four were taken by ambulance but still had serious injuries. We will add more details to this accident as more information becomes available.

A man was driving the wrong way down State Street when he side-swiped the car being driven by a 70-year-old woman. He was ejected from his car and transported to a hospital. The woman, Susan K. Wymer, was also hospitalized, but died of blunt force trauma the next day. The name of the wrong-way driver has not been released.
