Witnesses say they saw 20-year-old Cameron Nichols passing vehicles unsafely on an I-80 on-ramp, before he passed a semi-truck, lost control and fell onto the roadway, and was run over by it at about 5:37 p.m. Authorities pronounced Nichols dead at the scene of the crash.

The accident happened in the morning of February 7 on Interstate 575 just south of Sixes Road in Canton, Georgia. Scarlet lost an arm, suffered several broken bones and was in a coma for ten days, while another sister broke her leg in three places. The Woodstock Police are asking anyone who has information about the accident to come forward.
A man was driving the wrong way down State Street when he side-swiped the car being driven by a 70-year-old woman. He was ejected from his car and transported to a hospital. The woman, Susan K. Wymer, was also hospitalized, but died of blunt force trauma the next day. The name of the wrong-way driver has not been released.
