One person was killed and two others seriously injured in a Monday night head-on accident in Kent at 8 p.m on 148th Avenue South East. A woman, identified as Sherri White, 25, was deceased at the crash site. The man who hit White's vehicle apparently glanced at his cell phone just before drifting into oncoming traffic. One of the victims was able to crawl out of the wreckage and walk to a nearby residence to get help. Both of the injured victims are said to be in their 20's. Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.

Dylan Wade Ruiz, 23 of the McKinleyville, CA area died after his car sideswiped a guardrail, skidded across all lanes and running head-on into the Lindsay Creek Bridge railing on the north side of state route 299, east of US-101 in Humboldt, California. Ruiz is alleged to have been under the influence at the time of the crash and may have also been handling a mobile devise. Ruiz was wearing his seatbelt. The crash investigation is ongoing.

David K. Bunn has been identified as the suspected drunken driver who careened into oncoming traffic in Arvada Friday night and collided head-on into a car carrying two teenagers, killing the 16-year-old passenger, Lyneah Christine Dike, and severely injuring the 18-year-old driver. The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
