One woman died and four Cullman High School seniors were injured in a collision on Highway 31 at approximately 1 p.m. on Thursday. Victoria Clements Smith, 30, of Hanceville, died when her car crossed the median and crashed into another vehicle traveling southbound. Smith was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from her car. She was pronounced deceased at the crash site. The four students riding in the second vehicle were driving to Wallace State College for graduation rehearsal.

It was approximately 3:50 p.m. when 30-year-old Floridalma Ramos Morales was driving a car north on U.S. 31, and collided head-on with a pickup truck. Morales' son, identified as Darwin Sarceno, 4, was not properly buckled in and was thrown from the vehicle. Both him and his mother have been pronounced dead. A 1-year-old, 5-year-old, 12-year-old, and woman that were in the pickup truck were transported to various hospitals with potentially critical injuries. A 34-year-old Wisconsin Dells woman died in a collision Thursday morning on County Road H at 11:13 a.m. in Dellona. Nicole V. Houghton was driving a car east on County Road H when she failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the center line, and drove onto the opposite shoulder. She attempted the return to the eastbound lane when it collided head on with a truck driven by 62-year-old Bradley Martens. Houghton was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced deceased at the crash site by the coroner's office.

Hailey Evans, 20, of Price, was critically injured Saturday around 5 pm when the vehicle she was driving hit a Jeep head-on in the westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 6 near Soldier Summit. Evans tried to pass a semitruck just before the passing lane ended but was traveling too fast and lost control when she tried to move back in front of the truck. Her car crashed into an oncoming Jeep and Evans, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt, was ejected from her car. She was airlifted to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo in critical condition.

Don Coast, 69 was ejected from his vehicle and died after crossing into the southbound lane of Route 65 and colliding head-on with a Peterbuilt semi truck and trailer.  The driver of the truck was unharmed.  Witnessess reported Coast weaving between lanes prior to the crash and he was not wearing a seatbelt.

A 61-year-old woman was killed Friday after a head-on crash at the intersection of Northridge and Sadie Thomas roads. Pamela L. Graham, of Granville, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a release from the Granville Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol.
