Nicole V. Houghton, 34, killed in car accident on County Road H in Dellona, Wisconsin

A 34-year-old Wisconsin Dells woman died in a collision Thursday morning on County Road H at 11:13 a.m. in Dellona. Nicole V. Houghton was driving a car east on County Road H when she failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the center line, and drove onto the opposite shoulder. She attempted the return to the eastbound lane when it collided head on with a truck driven by 62-year-old Bradley Martens. Houghton was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced deceased at the crash site by the coroner's office. Martens was wearing a seat belt, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He refused medical treatment at the scene.
