A tire blowout is believed to have caused a rollover crash that seriously injured five members of a family, including three children, on Interstate 10 in Phoenix on Thursday morning. The Arizona Department of Public Safety said the family's vehicle was going west when the blowout occurred, sending the vehicle through the median and into eastbound traffic. The crash happened near 31st Avenue about 9:30 a.m. Two adults were taken to St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center with serious injuries, Garcia said. The three children were taken to Phoenix Children's Hospital.
