Phoenix, AZThis catastrophic accident began on Friday afternoon, when a southbound pickup truck on U.S. 93 for some reason veered into the northbound lanes, and subsequently into the path of an oncoming semi-truck. The driver of the semi-truck managed to avoid a head-on collision with the pickup, but was still struck in the trailer. The pickup then continued to collide head-on with a passenger vehicle that was behind the semi, killing the driver of the pickup as well as two people who were in the other vehicle.

Phoenix, AZThere are virtually no details on the crash itself, but it is known that shortly before 5:00am a crash involving three vehicles occured on Loop 101 that left two men in critical condition and caused several road closures. Phoenix, AZOne man is dead and another critically injured after a semi-truck carrying a load of pavers veered across three lanes of traffic and rear-ended four vehicles, causing one of them to burst into flames on northbound I-17 in Phoenix 6:45 a.m. Wednesday. The driver of the burning car, Paul Troupe, 22, of Phoenix, was pulled out of the vehicle and brought to a hospital, where he later died.
