A man and a woman were riding in a truck on Interstate 10 when a tire blew out. The driver tried to steer, but was unable to keep the vehicle under control and it rolled. Emergency crews had to extricated both people from the truck, and they were both hospitalized with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

A collision occured at about 9:30 a.m. when a cement truck collided with another vehicle near 75th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road in Phoenix. The wreck left a man trapped under a cement truck in extremely critical condition. Emergency crews were able to remove him and transport him to a trauma center. Police in Phoenix are investigating the cause of the accident.

A black car was traveling northbound in the southbound lane when it struck another vehicle almost head-on. Three people trapped in vehicles needed to be freed by firefighters. No one involved in the crash appeared to have life threatening injuries. Alcohol impairment appears to have been a factor.

The boy was not wearing a helmet and was riding in a place he was told not to go and lost control. Fortunately, the boy's 14-year-old cousin was able to lift the quad off of him and call for help. The boy is in the Phoenix Children's Hospital and is expected to recover.
