At around 4:45 a.m. on Interstate 70 a black 2006 Lexus was traveling at a high-rate of speed when it veered off the right side of the road and crashed. The driver, a 59-year-old man from Littleton, was killed in the crash. The State Patrol is looking for anyone who witnessed this crash to come forward with information.
A little before 5 a.m., a late model Scion that was traveling south on Mission Parkway left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver died at the scene. The passenger was transported to a local hospital, and is expected to survive. Police say speed and alcohol might be contributing factors to this crash.
The vehicle was reportedly traveling north on Chambers Road when the driver lost control and the car left the roadway, striking a tree and rolling over. Two people died from injuries sustained in the crash, and two others were injured. Everyone riding in the car appears to have been in their early twenties, but their identities have not yet been released.
