Gwinnett County Police are investigating a six-vehicle fatal accident that snarled traffic on Thursday morning.

The incident happened near the intersection of Singleton Road and Jimmy Carter Boulevard.

One person died on the scene and two others were transported, one in critical condition and another with minor injuries.

This accident is currently under investigation.

A man attempting to flee from police crashed his truck into a tree Wednesday in Forsyth County.

Around 2 p.m., a Forsyth County deputy clocked a truck going 86 mph in a 65 mph zone on GA 400.

The driver of the truck, identified by police as Brandon Friday, fled south on GA 400 and took Exit 9, Haynes Bride Road.

Deputies said Friday lost control and crashed into a tree about a half mile from Northpoint Mall.

Friday was booked into Forsyth Detention Center. He suffered a small hand injury in the accident.

A woman and her unborn child died Saturday after she was involved in a traffic accident in Acworth.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff's office, 26-year-old Tiffany Robbins turned her Honda Accord into the path of a truck.

Robbins, who was seven months pregnant, was conscious and alert at the scene of the accident.

She was taken to Kennestone Hospital where she and her unborn child eventually died from apparent internal injuries, according to authorities.

A DeKalb County 10th grade student severely injured in a car accident over the weekend was taken off of life support on Tuesday. Kaylin Williams, 15, was described by school officials as a model student at Southwest DeKalb High. She had straight As and was poised for an elite cheerleading collegiate scholarship, friends said. Williams was a passenger in a car with two other 10th grade students on Saturday. The trio was returning home in bad weather after a trip to the movies when the car hydroplaned and was t-boned by a truck.

A MARTA bus and three other vehicles were involved in a Friday morning crash on southbound I-85 in Clayton County, according to GDOT.

A MARTA Police spokesperson said that it initially appears that the bus struck a disabled vehicle on I-85 before the Old National Highway exit. The bus driver was not injured and there were no passengers aboard his vehicle at the time, Harris said.

There is no word on the condition of people in the other vehicles.

The two right lanes of the roadway are affected by the collision, according to GDOT.

Rafael Menchaca-Dellado was killed Wednesday evening in a Clayton County traffic accident.

According to Clayton County police, the four-vehicle accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on I-285 at Clark Howell Highway.

Authorities say one vehicle lost control, flipped and ejected a person, who was killed.

Two other people suffered non life-threatening injuries and were transported to Atlanta Medical Center, according to authorities.

Honey Boo Boo and her family are recovering from a serious car crash.

The Georgia TV family was turning left at a green light when a truck slammed into them Monday night in Milledgeville, Ga.

Honey Boo Boo, whose real name is Alana Thompson, was in the vehicle with her mother June "Mama June" Shannon and her sisters Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon and Jessica "Chubbs" Shannon. Their Chevrolet Suburban was being driven by David Thompson, according to the police report.

The family was taken to a local hospital to be checked out.

Authorities say a 52-year-old Kingsland woman was killed and her husband suffered critical injuries in a four-vehicle crash near the Georgia coast.

Renee Dowdy died Sunday when a pickup truck crashed into the back of her husband's car. A Georgia State Patrol Trooper says the impact was strong enough to push the car into two other vehicles waiting in a turning lane of the Golden Isles Parkway in Brunswick.

Dowdy's husband, 50-year-old Daryl Dowdy, was air-lifted to a hospital in Jacksonville, Fla., where he was listed in critical condition Sunday night.

An overturned tanker truck on Buford Highway snarled traffic in DeKalb County on Tuesday. The tanker overturned on the ramp from Interstate 285 eastbound to Buford Highway around 5 p.m. As of 10 p.m., all lanes on the ramp were blocked and southbound traffic on Buford Highway was being diverted through the left turn lane. Crews worked to transfer the tanker's 8,500 gallons of fuel into other vehicles.

Georgia State Patrol officials say a newlywed bride was killed in a crash hours after her wedding reception in north Georgia.

State patrol officials stated that Kali Dobson was thrown from a car Sunday night in Ball Ground after the car she and her husband were riding in rolled into an embankment.

A neighbor says the groom, later identified as Ryan Quinton, 28, was stumbling up the road with a bloodied, torn shirt after the crash. Thomas says he called 911 and tried comforting the man with a prayer while they waited for emergency responders to arrive.
