Tiffany Robbins killed, 3 year old injured, after car turns into path of truck.

A woman and her unborn child died Saturday after she was involved in a traffic accident in Acworth.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff's office, 26-year-old Tiffany Robbins turned her Honda Accord into the path of a truck.

Robbins, who was seven months pregnant, was conscious and alert at the scene of the accident.

She was taken to Kennestone Hospital where she and her unborn child eventually died from apparent internal injuries, according to authorities.

Robbins also had a 3-year-old daughter restrained in a car seat during the accident, who was also taken to the hospital.

The driver of the truck was not seriously injured.
