Las Vegas, NVThomas and Keiko Kawachika were riding together in a car eastbound on Flamingo Road when their vehicle collided with another driven by a 59-year-old man. Keiko was not wearing a seat belt. She and Thomas were both taken to University Medical Center with moderate injuries. The other driver was not injured. Keiko died of her injuries at UMC.

Las Vegas, NVAt about 6:30 a.m., an elderly driver rolled over and crashed into a gravel pit near the 215 Beltway and Lone Mountain Road, according to Lt. Patrick Charoen. The driver was pronounced dead at scene. Authorities do not believe he was wearing a seat belt. We'll update this story as more information becomes available.
