Man killed when vehicle crashes into gravel pit

An elderly man was killed in a fatal rollover crash this morning in the northwest valley, Metro Police said.

Arthur Brancatelli, an 81-year-old man from Las Vegas, was in a 1999 Honda CRV when it crashed into a guardrail on eastbound Lone Mountain, Las Vegas police said. 
At about 6:30 a.m., an elderly driver rolled over and crashed into a gravel pit near the 215 Beltway and Lone Mountain Road, according to Lt. Patrick Charoen. The driver was pronounced dead at scene. Authorities do not believe he was wearing a seat belt.
