A driver killed late Saturday night in a crash in Brady, Butler County, might have been driving drunk, Pennsylvania State Police said. David J. Malesh, 53, of Butler, was driving a Chevrolet Silverado south on Route 528 when he lost control during a turn, went up an embankment and hit a tree shortly before 11:30 p.m., Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release. He was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital, where he died. State police suspect alcohol was involved.

One person is dead after a driver ran a red light, leading to a serious crash in West Philadelphia Saturday night.

A gray Camaro and blue Buick were travelling eastbound on Chestnut Street near 58th Street around 6:30 p.m. when the two vehicles struck a silver Nissan Altima that ran a red light, according to reports.

Officials confirm the Nisan's driver, a 53-year-old female, was pronounced dead at 7:30 p.m. at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

A 45-year-old Manheim man was admitted to hospital Saturday morning with life-threatening injuries after he was thrown off his motorcycle during a crash with a car. Two other people were injured, but released from hospital. The crash happened just after 11 a.m. at the intersection of Bucknoll Road and Holly Tree Road in Penn Township, Lancaster County.

A man was killed after being hit by a car on Route 222 in Lancaster County Thursday night. The accident happened around 8:20 p.m. near the Cocalico Creek Bridge. Police said the victim, John Rineer Jr., 66, of Ephrata, got out of his car after something fell off the trailer he was towing. He was struck when he went to pick up the debris. Rineer was taken to Lancaster General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Police said the driver who struck him is a woman from New Jersey. There is no word on whether she will be charged.

Police have identified the man killed in a Lancaster County crash early Thursday morning. Curtis Raymond Groff, 21, of Denver Borough, was killed when his pickup ran off Millstone Road in Clay Township, hit a tree and caught fire around 12:30 a.m. Thursday, according to Northern Lancaster County Regional Police. The crash is still under investigation.

A 24-year-old woman was killed early this morning in a vehicle crash in Wilkinsburg.

Christina Graham-Pinkney was a passenger in a vehicle that collided with another vehicle around 1:30 a.m. in the 2100 block of Robinson Boulevard, according to the Allegheny County medical examiner's office. She died at the scene.

Wilkinsburg police said Robinson Boulevard remained closed between Wilner and Douglass drives as of 7:15 a.m.

Allegheny County police are leading the investigation and were not immediately available.

A motorist is dead following a collision involving a taxi cab in the Philadelphia's Olney section early Friday morning.

The accident happened around 1:40 a.m. on the 7100 block of Old York Road.

A witness stated that a vehicle was attempting to make a turn when it was struck broadside by a taxi cab.

Police say both drivers were taken to Einstein Medical Center.

The cab driver, believed to be in his 40s, suffered head, back and chest injuries.

A man was killed when the car he was in collided with a cement mixer truck in Levittown, Bucks County Thursday morning.

The crash happened at 8:52 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Edgely Road and Goldenridge Drive.

According to investigators, the cement mixer was traveling south on Edgely Road and the Buick was traveling east on Goldenridge Drive.

The 85-year-old Levittown man behind the wheel of the Buick was transported to St. Mary Medical Center by Levittown Fairless Hills Rescue Squad where he was pronounced deceased.

In Lancaster County, one woman is dead and another remains hospitalized after a crash in Rapho Township. Police say an SUV and car crashed head-on Wednesday in the 1300 block of Auction Road. The driver of the SUV, Bonnie Miller, of Columbia, died at the scene. The other driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Rescue crews are on the scene of a head-on between a car and a minivan in Paoli, Chester County.

The accident occurred around 11:00 a.m. on Route 252 near Hilltop Road.

At least one person was trapped in the minivan. Rescue crews worked to free that person from the wreckage.

That person and two others were taken to area hospitals. Their conditions are unknown.

Route 252 is closed at Hilltop Road while the accident investigation continues.
