85-year-old man killed, after his car and a cement truck, driven by a 52-year-old man, collide at the intersection of Edgely Road and Goldenridge Drive in Levittown.

A man was killed when the car he was in collided with a cement mixer truck in Levittown, Bucks County Thursday morning.

The crash happened at 8:52 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Edgely Road and Goldenridge Drive.

According to investigators, the cement mixer was traveling south on Edgely Road and the Buick was traveling east on Goldenridge Drive.

The 85-year-old Levittown man behind the wheel of the Buick was transported to St. Mary Medical Center by Levittown Fairless Hills Rescue Squad where he was pronounced deceased.

The 52-year-old driver of the cement truck was evaluated by medical personnel then later released, and is said to be cooperating with the investigation.

Police are continuing to investigate.
