At approximately 4:00 p.m., four girls and two boys, all between the ages of 5-16, were riding on a four-seat ATV when it crashed and overturned for reasons unknown. All occupants were ejected from the vehicle, and the ATV rolled on top of a 5-year-old boy and 7-year-old girl. The boy was pronounced dead, while the girl was flown to a hospital in critical condition. Two other children were also hospitalized with unknown injuries. 14-year-old Lily Rhodes was riding on ATV with three friends at a birthday party when something, possibly a hole in the terrain, caused the vehicle to flip and eject all occupants. Of those involved, Rhodes sustained the worst injuries and had to have most of her arm amputated, though she should make a good recovery otherwise.
