Seattle-Tacoma, WAThe driver of a car has been killed in a collision with a pickup on Highway 2 near Snohomish. The Washington State Patrol says the car crossed the center line and hit the truck head-on about 5 a.m. Monday near the intersection with Highway 9. The driver of the car died at the scene and the pickup driver was taken to an Everett hospital in serious condition. A State Trooper stated that investigators are looking into the cause of the crash but there was heavy frost on the ground and roads around Snohomish County were slick.

Wednesday, December 25, 2013One person was killed and three others injured in a head-on crash in Williamstown that occurred during a snowfall.
Police say the woman who died in the Thursday crash on Route 7 was a passenger in a Hyundai Elantra that collided with a Buick Lucerne. She was taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield where she was pronounced dead. Each vehicle had two occupants.
Three other people were taken to Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield with injuries that were serious but did not appear life-threatening.
No names were released.
