Woman killed, 3 injured in head-on crash on snowy State Route 7 near Williamstown, Massachusetts

One person was killed and three others injured in a head-on crash in Williamstown that occurred during a snowfall. Police say the woman who died in the Thursday crash on Route 7 was a passenger in a Hyundai Elantra that collided with a Buick Lucerne. She was taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield where she was pronounced dead. Each vehicle had two occupants. Three other people were taken to Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield with injuries that were serious but did not appear life-threatening. No names were released. The accident remains under investigation, weather conditions appear to be a factor.
