The collision happened on Friday evening when 20-year-old Cole Hallyburton ran a stop sign and crashed into a sedan.The truck rolled multiple times, and two passengers were ejected. Luke Bartlett, 20, was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Another passenger was airlifted to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. A total of seven people sustained injured.

Investigators believe that Manuel A. Valencia, 32, was under the influence of alcohol when he turned left from Ritchie Highway onto College Parkway without obeying the traffic signal. It was about 7:30 p.m., and Valencia's car was struck by an SUV driven by Charles Michael Nossick, 56, where it was pushed into and crushed against a traffic pole. Valencia was declared dead at the scene of the crash, while Nossick was pronounced dead shortly after being rushed to the hospital by ambulance.

On Monday morning, Maryland-National Capital Park police were called to the scene of an overturned SUV on the Washington, Baltimore, and Annapolis Trail where it goes underneath the 8600 block of Race Track Road after someone reported hearing screams. Brandon Barnes, 23, of Lanham was pronounced dead at the scene, and DeAndra Jones of Lanham, 25, was airlifted in critical condition to the shock trauma center at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, where she is in grave condition. Neither was wearing a helmet.

Authorities have reported that a man is dead after a vehicle collision early Sunday morning. A report of a crash was called in when authorities arrived and saw that a man had been thrown from his vehicle, and was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident. Early reports suggest the driver lost control of his car and it overturned. We will update this story as more information becomes available.

Amy Riggs was driving a grey Subaru east on Darnestown road when a Ford F-250 crossed the centerline and struck Rigss' vehicle head-on. The F-250 rolled several times and hit a Kia Sorento before coming to a stop. Riggs sustained fatal injuries in the crash. The driver of F-250,  Kenneth Bynaker Jr., suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The driver of the Sorento, Christine Goldstein, was also transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Coulbourn was driving a car on Bethlehem Road when she drifted over the center line and sideswiped an oncoming bus on the rear of its driver's side, which caused it to roll onto its side. Coulbourn was declared dead at the scene of the accident, while Brittingham, who was the bus driver, his assistant, and five passengers on the bus were taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is not yet known.
