Brandon Barnes, 23, dead and DeAndra Jones, 25, critically injured in ATV rollover on Washington, Baltimore, and Annapolis Trail in Bowie, Maryland

On Monday morning, Maryland-National Capital Park police were called to the scene of an overturned SUV on the Washington, Baltimore, and Annapolis Trail where it goes underneath the 8600 block of Race Track Road after someone reported hearing screams. Brandon Barnes, 23, of Lanham was pronounced dead at the scene, and DeAndra Jones of Lanham, 25, was airlifted in critical condition to the shock trauma center at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, where she is in grave condition. Neither was wearing a helmet. We'll update this story as more information becomes available.
