Rescue crews are on scene of an accident involving a truck and a car Friday night that left three people injured.
It happened at 8:15 p.m. at Bethlehem Pike and Lenhart Road in Hatfield, Montgomery County.
One person was medevaced to the hospital. Two others were taken by medics. The conditions of the victims are unknown at this time.
The accident remains under investigation.
A chain accident involving 50 cars and one fatality Sunday afternoon has shut down the westbound section of the Pennsylvania Turnpike between Downingtown and Morgantown.
A driver, whose identity has not been released, was involved in a one-vehicle accident while heading west when their vehicle slid and crashed just after snow started falling around 12:30 p.m., said a turnpike spokesman. When the motorist got out of their vehicle after the accident, they were hit by another vehicle and killed.
An elderly man has been killed after being hit by a SEPTA bus and officials are trying to determine whether the bus driver realized he struck the man.
The 64-year-old man was hit by a SEPTA bus at 8:49 p.m. on Friday at 79th St. and Cheltenham Ave. in the Cedarbrook section of the city, police said.
He was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he later died.
The bus kept on going after hitting the man, police said.
A 71 year old woman crashed into a police SUV in Northeast Philadelphia. She was hospitalized along with a police officer who has since been released.
One man is killed after crashing into a U-Haul truck at a Philadelphia intersection that neighbors describe as "dangerous."
Police sources state that the man who died was driving a stolen car when he went through a stop sign at Princeton and Summerdale Avenues in the city's Oxford Circle section.
The driver of that car, who hasn't yet been identified, died at the scene after hitting the U-Haul.
The driver of the U-Haul truck was taken to the hospital and treated for head, neck and back injuries. He is currently in stable condition.
